Media Converter and Win 7, 64bit OS

Is SMC compatible with Win 7 and the 64 bit OS?  What is the date of the latest version?

Technically... no. The latest version is OLDER than Windows 7. However, I generally find that 7 is backward-compatible with Vista/XP apps. Please note that I discovered this while using the latest beta version, which I'm guessing is less compatible that the regular version. Oh, and I was using the x64 edition, too.

It seem that the latest version was release back in 2007 (according to the copyright in the help -> about box). (This could be the reason why I have so many complaints about the program. :smileyvery-happy:) If it doesn't work try compatibility mode (right-click on the program, select "properties", and check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for..." box, and select either Vista or XP. If that doesn't work, try FuzeVids, or Video4Fuze.

Tired of the Sansa Media Converter? Try Video4Fuze! It can create smaller videos than SMC, and is WAY more reliable!!!!
