I was writing some songs onto the device and then it suddenly freezes and now no matter what I do the device won’t move from the “Writing” screen. Can this be fixed?
Reset it by sliding the power switch up and holding it there for 20-30 seconds before releasing the switch. Then turn it on again normally. You might need to connect it to your PC again and check for file errors (caused by the player freezing while writing) with your OS’s built-in tools.

Augh, thank you. I tried that more than once but it didn’t work but I guess I just didn’t hold it long enough. Thank you so much! I just got the thing I thought it was broken within a week of getting it.
