Just checking back in after many months waiting for gapless. Doesn’t appear to be any change unless I missed something. I’m truly disappointed in this product and Sandisk’s inability to respond to customer requests.
I guess the only thing I can say is that if I’d known about the gaps before buying I would have looked for a better product. And certainly I’ll be skipping Sandisk in the future.
As a listener to Classical/Opera music it’s just total ■■■■ to have to put up with gaps. About half the music I listen to is botched up by the gaps. Anyhting in opera is ruined and quite a range of 20th century music like “Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring” and many, many others require gapless playback.
I get more than 1 second gaps on mine despite what some others are saying.
