Fuze won't mount in Ubuntu

OK,

  1. I don’t use Linux.

  2. The Fuze has two USB modes, MTP to work with Windows Media Player and MSC (generic flash drive) for everything else. Out of the box the Fuze is is set to Auto Detect, which is supposed to be MTP if it sees WMP and MSC if not. It should have gone to MSC since you are using Linux.

3)Disconnect it. Turn it on.  Go to Settings/System Settings/USB Mode and change to MSC.  Then connect  and see what happens.
