Anyone have the rubberized backing peeling away?

Any cover-up for this?  Thin skins?

The rubberized “tactile” coating is similar to coatings used in automotive applcations.  It can, over time, delaminate from the back of the Fuze.

Your best options are either a silicone “skin” for the entire device,  or refinish the back.  I’ve pondered going with an old school “krinkle finish” paint for the back, since it is durable, and it feels nice to the touch.

I always liked a silicone skin on mine when I had it.

I prefer silicone under the skin myself . . .

Does anyone remember the '57 Buick bumper guards? :stuck_out_tongue:

If you do get some kind of protection for your fuze, don’t get a plastic protective case, i had one and my fuze got all scratched up from it.

My backing hasn’t come off after a year of daily use(but then again, i keep it in a rubber case).

I have had mine in a padded mini-camera case for two years, but nonetheless it is delaminating and it’s really getting bad.  About 2/3 of the backing is gone.  I think I’m just going to scratch it all off.  (sort of like a lottery ticket)
