Then it’s not really folder “navigation” at all, is it? I’m guessing the new firmware merely harvests the tracks’ path and filename information during the “refreshing your media” eon and adds it to the database, where it is treated it more or less like another kind of tag, leaving us with the same interminable startup delays as before.
Give those of us who want folder navigation the option – just the option, mind you – to TURN OFF the database scanning and let us traverse the file tree instead, even if it does mean a tradeoff for some other tag-based functionality. The FUZE will still be a work in progress until then.
Also, why can’t the FUZE at least do playback while charging?
