My Sansa Clip+ is displaying some characters (that look like hex.) on some folders and files names, in windows 7 they display correctly.
ex:
4A020000_My folder name
E0000000_My mp3 name
By any chance, were those files transferred to your player under USB MTP mode? MTP mode transfer can result in file name glitches. You might try setting your player’s USB mode to MSC mode and trying again.
As a general matter, MSC mode is more glitch-free than MTP mode. And MTP mode really is only needed if you use DRM-protected files.
