music files disappeared :-(

Hi all

All my music files disappeared from my 8GB clip.

The index appeared to be there, but music wouldn’t play.

Couldn’t see the files in the MUSIC folder on the PC.

Copied them over again, now they play.

Any ideas?

What mode did you use to transfer the files? Are you consistent with that mode? Because switching modes will cause files to be hidden or sometimes delete them if they are set to be in sync with a media player.
