Sansa Clip+ suitable for Mac OS X in External Drive mode?

I have heard people having problems with Mac OS X transferring files in external file mode… Something to do with it being a DOS formatted disk or something? I have had no problems, just wondering about this. BTW, I love the Clip+ , so like to take care of it! But I prefer not to use any software like iTunes .etc, or whatever, in the MSc mode, since it is a faff…

thanks allot, grounder.

Basically, the issue is that when the Mac transfers files, it creates and also transfers a separate data file for each file; the Clip can’t read the data files and chokes when it hits one.  I’m not a Mac guy, but it seems that some people have the issue, others don’t (and it’s not limited to issues with the Clip alone); perhaps it’s Mac OS determined.

From what I understand, Kopymac avoids this by preventing the creation/transfer of the data files.  When I looked at it, it’s a pretty simple program–if I recall correctly, drag files to a window and simply press a copy button.  Voila!
