Sansa Clip Not Turn On

After some months usage my Sansa Clip+ not possible to power on… Its fully charged and its connect to pc and show full battery… When i remove connection playr is off and not possible to turn on power. I have try reset several times but its not helping ( i have used reset earlier when had some issues)

Nikki

If this is one of the orginal Clips (round scroll wheel, no SD card slot), they were prone to faulty solder connection on the battery leads. If your player fires up when connected to your computer or a power source, but shuts off instantly when you unplug it, it sounds as if this is what might have happened.

If the lead to the battery has come undone, it is possible to carefully pry open the case and either re-solder the lead back or use conductive glue to glue it back.

hello, my player dont have round scroll wheel… And i do have sd card slott

Still sounds like a disconnected battery lead (see above), if it works fine when connected to a PC or power, and then powers off immediately when disconnected.

ok thanks for the reply… Whats the best way to open the player?

These YouTube videos should help:

Just proceed slowly and carefully, to avoid any damage to the case (a guitar pick or credit card can be used to pry the case apart) or the internal wiring, which can be very delîcate.

i got it open…and was able to turn it on direct without the butto on the shield…so i put it back and it worked a day, then button not work again…What should i do to fix this permanent?
