Problems with Clip not recognized on PC, or Clip keeps disconnecting

The Sansa tech support page has some useful tips to resolve both these issues. My clip was recognized on one PC and not another, and then kept connecting and disconnecting. Check out:

It will explain how to add MTP devices, through the Add Hardware process to get the clip recognized. Also they emphasize that the clip should be connected to the closest USB port to the motherboard. My clip was connected to a front port and kept connecting and disconnecting until I plugged it into the back of the PC. Also do not use a usb hub. I suspect on older PC’s the usb power may be reduced by the number of devices or hubs you have connected and the clip can’t handle it. My clip works fine on all my PC’s now.
