Micro sd 16gb memory vs 32gb

Read here somewhere that that the sansa clip+ has a maximum capasity of xxx number of song so 32 gb will be more space than the sansa can handle? Is this correct? If so then I would just go for the 16 gb. And does it matter which speed class I choose?

That’s correct. It’s 8000 files, I believe.

That depends. If you have a lot of low-bitrate tracks (low quality, small files), you may indeed run into the limit long before you run out of space. On the other hand, if you use high-bitrate tracks (high quality, larger files), you’ll probably run out of space before you hit the file limit.

 

And does it matter which speed class I choose?

 

Not really. The “class” rating is only the guaranteed WRITE speed, in megabits per second. It may take longer to transfer files to the card, but playback shouldn’t be affected at all.
