Has anyone used the Griffin PowerBlock or PowerDuo charger? Need home and car chargers.

I’m thinking of buying the Griffin wall charger (Amazon.com).  I like that you can charge two devices at once (tho I am not sure how you know when each is finished). The description says it is Sansa-compatible, but doesn’t say which players.  Has anyone used this charger?

I’ve also seen the Macally charger recommended in these forums, but I’d like to be able to charge two devices.  (A cheap charger, like the Combi model (http://www.amazon.com/Durable-Flexible-Silicone-Charger-SanDisk/dp/B001BFS0H8/ref=pd\_bbs\_sr\_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1229820872&sr=8-2) is also appealing, but I’m afraid of frying my player.  Has anyone used that?

I have also seen that some people use Blackberry or Motorola chargers.  Our phones are LG phones (one’s an VX8350, I think) – I guess that wouldn’t work?

Thanks!

I see on the Sansa accessory page that the Griffin PowerDuo is listed as being compatible with any Sansa players with 30-pin connectors.  How many pins does the Clip have?  It looks like about 5 to me, if I’m looking at the right part.  Thank you.

As a general matter, most USB AC chargers should work (that is, AC chargers that use a standard USB connection to connect to an electronics).  USB power is a standard.  All you need is a USB cable to connect to the charger, such as the cable that came with your Clip.  Some chargers come with a cable with a connector for a particular player–as long as the cable is not attached to the charger, you simply can use your own, if the supplied cable is for a different player (like a Sansa player that doesn’t use a standard USB plug).

Walmart also has a 2 USB connection charger, at a reasonable price and that has received fine reviews.  http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5750794

edit:  The Griffin you note should be fine (altho the price should be lower …).  The DLO Powerbug also is a nice unit, in a small package (although, again, priced higher than should be; note that the little power light (which I think is supposed to change color when the charge is over, for some players) may not work correctly for the Clip, but that’s no big deal).   http://www.amazon.com/DLO-002-9981-PowerBug-Wall-Charger/dp/B000NOPA9E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1229872341&sr=1-2
