Clip+ turns off when battery goes below 20%

[ Edited ]

I've got the latest firmware, but have noticed the mp3 turning off as soon as it goes down to 20%. Is this normal? If so that's annoying as 20% is a considerable ammount and its gone off on me a couple of times when I needed it thinking 20% would still be fine.

edit: apologies if this has been  before, I searched and couldn't find a similar problem.

Normal? Don't know, but that's the way these things seem to work.

The battery meter doesn't seem to be very useful. Mine will frequently display around 50% but then die within an hour.
