Cannot Delete Music Files

SanDisk MP3 players Sansa® Clip | Sansa® Clip+

Have attempted SEVERAL times to delete the music files based on the 2 separate set of instructions.

After each attempt, the music files keep coming back.

I tried using the system settings format option too, that is suposed to wipe out all info on device.

That hasn’t worked either.

I can’t even add new files to device.

Please advise.  I don’t want to throw the device away.

Just some questions in order to understand the issue.

With the music files you mean the folders or the mp3, wav etc files?

How do you try to transfer the music files to the player? drag and drop or with a software?

Are you using a micro sd card with the player?

The OP said the music files, not folders.

And why are your other questions relevant?

If you have answers to the original issue based on various variables, perhaps just post the answers . . . .
