Can't rate songs on Sansa Clip+

I have recently bought the Sansa Clip+ and it has firmware version V01.01.05F and the rate song feature does not appear to work. I choose 1 - 5 stars and select the choice but the rating is not saved. Another poster asked a similar question and his solution involved setting the USB mode to MTP, but this has not worked for me. Any suggestions?

Ok I figured it out, the new firmware fixed this problem for me.

I have firmware 1.02.18 and the ratings are not saving

You have to be in MTP mode on the USB settings.  Now they are saving.
