I’ve just spent 2 hours trying to get my new Clip+ charged up on the USB port of my Win7 laptop on AC. It would begin charging, then after a few minutes would stop. I plugged it into a powered hub and the same thing happened. On this forum I uncovered the battery indicator in the settings menu and it said “Power 100%” ??? My device must have been fully charged when I bought it ! Wierd. The package was factory sealed. The main screen battery indicator is solid yellow BTW. I somehow deduced from the Quick Start Guide that at full battery the indicator would be solid black. What’s the real story? The unit plays fine.
The battery icon will be solid yellow when fully charged, and change to black as it discharges.
If I recall correctly, my Clip+ was more than 3/4ths charged when I got it.
