iXpand video streaming Chromecast

I’ve recently ordered an iXpand so haven’t used it yet but have a question on the inbuilt video player.

I haven’t seen any mention of the app supporting Chromecast so I guess it doesn’t.

Does anyone know if there are any plans for Sandisk to include this option in future updates?

i have not heard or seen and comments from sandisk stating anything about chromecast support.
