Sandisk iXpand works on iPone 6s but not iPad mini

Good Day All-

I have tried nearly everything on the iPad Mini to get the iXpand to play videos.  The firmware is correct, iPad is IOS 9.2.1, and both iPad and MAC can read the drive… iXpand will attempt to play the video (sometimes gives sound) but won’t give an actual video in the player.  Right before I packed it up to return, I tried it in my iPhone 6s and MAGIC it works no problem!!

Any suggestions or helpful hints?!    -Luke
