I purchased my Sandisk Ultra II in February of 2016 and I have already lost data. When my system, through Sandisk SSD Dashboard 1.43 acknowledged the drive, it informed me that there were no volumes and every attempt to create one yeild a "hardware fail". Under disk mangement with Windows 10pro, on an HP Zbook 17 workstation, it gives me no options and any attempt to initalize the drive also yeilds a "hardware failure" error. I use this drive with my Atomos Shogun for recording 4k footage from my Panasonic GH4. It was working in my Shogun and I could play back the footage recorded, but everytime I connect the drive to my computer via an Atomos docking unit, it would request that I reformat the drive and any attempt to reformat it, would fail.
