SecureAccess cannot re-open files for storage and deletion

I am using SanDisk SecureAccess 3.0, last updated on 6 Mar 2017 using the update function in the help menu.

After opening a file in the vault by double-clicking and editing the file I get the following FileWatcher error message when saving the file in the editor (Word in this case):

cannot open file for read x:/Users/name/AppData/Local/Temp/SanDiskSecureAccessV3/filename.doc

This started happening with the latest Windows 10 update, it worked fine a month earlier.

Any ideas?

Hello Didi,

We are experiencing the same issue, all was working fine before.

We too are using Microsoft Word (2013 with all updates) and Windows 10 which is updated regularly.

We have tried another Sandisk stick, we’ve tried formatting to NTFS.

Did you ever find a resolution?
