multiple vaults ?

Is it possible to define two or more vaults on the same key ?

For instance:  vaultPhil and vaultMary.

   Hi Phil22,

Saludos, Alfred.

   Hi Phil22,

Dear member of SanDisk Community, welcome.

Well, thanks to your question, I began to experiment with the latest version (April 2014) of SanDiskSecureAccessV2 , you can download (free) from here:   http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2399

1 -   Downloads on the UFD to SanDiskSecureAccessV2_win
Beware: if you figure thus: SanDiskSecureAccessV2_win.exe, go Tools / Folder Options / tab / View / and tick: hide file extensions, by the way, you notice, that are also branded the choices: hide files protected, and: do not show hidden files and folders.

2** -**    Then, you install the program, password, etc. And you will have two files:
2.1- SanDiskSecureAccessV2_win, (the application).
2.2- SanDiskSecureAccess Vault (which is the folder that contains the encrypted files).
2.3- If you lose or delete to SanDiskSecureAccessV2_win, there is no problem, as other download, and ready.
2.4- But if you lose or delete a SanDiskSecureAccess Vault, missed all content (maybe with Recuva can recover).
2.5- If you can _ change the name,_ the application (2.1).
2.6 - _ Do not you can change the name, the folder / Vault,_ because the name is generated by the application, and if you change it, the application will not open, and will generate a new Vault.
2.7- If you can move on, too, to the application ( a any folder)
2.8- You can not move the folder / Vault. You should leave it in t_he root of the_ UFD, because that is where the going, “find” the application.

Beware 2 : Always make, backup content, copy the Vault, clone the UFD, etc., and save everything in “safe place”.

Bonus:
I’ll tell you a secret, that I use to hide everything in a very simple way, and to not bother, or do not see, or deleted inadvertently the Vault, or any file or folder.

B.1-     For this, we use a portable utility (free, configured to use “a touch”):

FreeCommander 2009.02b  http://filecloud.io/8qonxcej
Is a program that serves a lot of things, not so dizzy, I’ll use for it following (and I know you will like the result).
B.2-     In Windows, there are two degrees, to hide files or folders:
B.2.1-   “Show or no show”, and you can do (Attributes), with properties file, ticked the option “hide” and then upgrade (F5).
You see, then, that the file “it disappeared” of the folder. If you want to see, you have to go to “Folder Options” / View and tick the appropriate option and reappear.
B.2.2-  “Hide as system files”, and you can not do directly. If, with “cmd.exe” (command prompt) and commands (experts “veterans” love it), or the program, which we will use, and that anyone can make.
B.3** - **   So FreeCommander download, you extract the wrar in the PC or the UFD, and open it.
In the window that appears, go to the top bar and “Extras / Settings”, you change the language to yours.
Then, further down, you’ll see icons with “Letters System" and then you click on t_he letter of your UFD_. And so you see, in the bottom panel, the total content of your UFD (and the PC, too), the icons are, and those who are not normally (these are seen as “ghost icons”).
Then “select” icon SanDiskSecureAccess Vault (2.2), and going up / right, in the bar of the program, where there is a " RA / HS” button and pressing, and in the menu that opens: ticked “fix attributes, and hidden and system” , and ready.
You close the program, and see (after upgrade to F5), who “disappeared” the Vault, but not really, but visually, as you can see with FreeCommander, or in “folder options”, uncheck "view system files ".
B.4-    So you do not see, do not mind the name that has, no danger of inadvertently delete it, and you can open it perfectly with the application (2.1).

B.5-    Well, do you see, is very simple (ha ha) … But worth it.

Enjoy, and then you tell us, what happened, please.

Regards, Alfred.                                                              (Google translated)

hello Alfred,

I thank you for your original idea.
But i don’t like this risk with so important data.

We will protect our data separately (so said my wife): with each one its own usb disk …
so simple (ha ha)
and that is very well !

Phil

:smileyvery-happy:   OK!   Enjoy!!

About the changing names, i did that by mistake now its a new EMPTY vault how can i retrieve the old files again!
