Firmware upgrade failed - SanDisk X100 SSD on ThinkPad X1 Carbon

I downloaded the corresponding ISO file, and made a bootable USB from the Toolkit in Windows 8.  Everything was fine until I boot up and select my SSD to upgrade the firmware.  A red dialog showed up.  When I tried to exit, I see the following error message that might be useful:

SATA IS in AHCI mode.

 

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

X100 is an OEM only ssd and the FW is posted on the page above under the support tab. Make sure you are using the correct FW for the SSD you have. If you still ahve issues all support for the SSD is done by the host manufacturer so you will need to contact them for support.

By the way jiehanzheng, what's the link where you downloaded the FW?
