SSD Plus recessed connector installation issue[ Edited ]Options
09-18-2018 06:13 AM - edited 09-18-2018 06:34 AM I’m not able to top-mount this 240 GB drive to replace the existing internal one which has the connector jutting out. The SSD Plus on the other hand, is recessed. Is there a way to pop it out or did I buy the wrong drive?
Laptop is Acer 3810 TZ. Drive being replaced is a 320 GB Seagate Momentus 5400.5 SATA series, ST9320320AS. ![]() Re: SSD Plus recessed connector installation issueOptions
09-18-2018 08:35 AM the piece on the HDD is an adapter. You need to take that off the old drive and put it on the ssd to install it. |
