When installed on my Win8.1 system, I get the warning “Dashboard is not
fully supported in Windows 8. Some operations will not be supported.”
On my W8.1 desktop I lost “Life Remaining & Temperature” on the
Status page, and “SMART - Advanced Details” on the Tools page.
Similar function loss on my Win7 system. So… if you can do without the
warning & SMART long test completion on SOME F/W revisions, and I can…
go back to earlier Dashboard versions, and I did. My best results:
Win8.1 - use v 1.4.4.4, Win7 - use v 2.3.2.4
Added info: To “regress” rather than “update,” I first un-installed v 2.3.3.0,
then deleted the program’s Dashboard folder with >200MB of stuff not
removed by the un-installer before re-installing older versions.
