SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD 960GB Window 8.1 Crashing VMware and host laptopOptions
02-18-2015 06:23 AM I've recently purchased Extreme Pro SSD and found that I'm getting daily crashes when running VMware player.
SSD drive SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD 960GB VMplayer player files are running on this device Latest firmware installed (X212T0RL)
Host laptop Aspire V3 771G. Windows 8.1 (Windows updated to the very latest) O/S installed on a standard non-SSD drive
Initially I recevied a BSODs, specifically a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION 0x00000133 issue, which seemed to be resolved by upgrading the SSD firmware. But now the SSD drive is crashing the host laptop without creating a dump file.
What else can I do?

Re: SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD 960GB Window 8.1 Crashing VMware and host laptopOptions
02-18-2015 10:29 AM In system properties > Advanced system settings > start up and recovery settings you should be able to configure the computer to create a crash dump on BSOD. Once you have the crash dump post it here so we can take a look at it. |
