Hello, purchased a SanDisk Extreme Pro 480 Gb to use with RME UFX audio recording solution for use with its direct recording DUREC. Requirements are that it is formatted in FAT32 and that the UFX only recognizes the first partition.
Now when formatting the disc in one partition there seems to be one segment that is not allocated in formating process, and since the disc results in a reading error on the UFX it seems that this unformatted section is the culprit. How do I either format the entire disc in FAT 32 alternatively how do I get the FAT32 partition to be deemed as the first?
Got additional information from RME that if the yellow part can not be seen in Disk Manager, then that would not be the problem. As seen in image below, there is no indication of that small part in disk manager...
