Thanks for the 2.9 firmware update. I can now copy files directly from the WMD SD card to the WMD memory. It is also very nice to be able to access the WMD and WMD SD card from my WIndows 7 laptop. File management has become much easier. It appears the problem with the unit shutting off during file transfers has been fixed.
I used my WMD recently on a vacation to Europe. I was able to backup photos from my camera SD card to my 7" Android tablet. I was able to enjoy and share pictures without lugging my laptop along.
