SanDisk Sansa Clip Sport - disabling Question "Do you want to keep current volume level"

Hello!

I would like to disable the Question “do you want to keep current volume level”,

which my player asks me every time I try to make my music louder.

When I am jogging - I do not want to stop and look at the screen every time, when I just want to make the song I am hearing for a little bit louder again.

So how can I disable this question?

Settings?

New Firmware? How?

Read the release notes for each version for installation instructions.

I’ve never seen this question on my Sport. I’ve just been using it and I can alter the volume without any extra button pressing. I’m using Firmware 1-28 and have the Region set to “rest of the world” and the volume setting selected as “high” in the settings menu.

are you in Europe or do you have the region set to Europe? If so there is a law in the EU which limits the volume level of the player. If you want to exceed this level you the player has to warn you and you have to confirm you want to keep the volume at that high level. Another great thing about the EU regulations.

If you do not want to see this message you can go to settings > system settings > restore and then choose Rest of world for the region.

Hi, Just do a restore and select rest of the world or North America as location, also, new firmware will severely limit volume level so don’t go further than v1.27

Does “restore” in system settings wipe any music files?

No. Only your personal settings will need to be reset.
