Good matter to raise. Presumably, using 3rd-party sync software such as Winamp, etc. (But I don't know if Windows Media Player offers things that the 3rd-party software does not.)

I have the Windows 10 preview and it has WMP. By default music files open in the Music app but you can right click the file and select open with and choose WMP. WMP can also be set as the default player as well.

So today is 7/29. I just finished updating to Windows 10. Not too bad, the process was very smooth.
Issue: my concern is true. Windows Media Player is not part of 10 and I can't seem to download it. Windows Music player does not list my Sanza Clip as a device. So, I have not way to sync my music.

3rd Party Ap - MusicBee. Will link to the Sansa and gives you full organizational options. I much prefer it to WMP and is more intuitive and the built in meta-data editing is ID-3 compatable.
Best of all - it's free-ware.
