How to activate player if no access to a Windows PC?

Hi

Just bought the sansdisk clip sport to play audible audio books. It appears that I have to ‘activate’ the player via a Windows PC. Err what if I don’t own a windows PC as I’m a  Mac based user? Please don’t tell me that I have to send yet another MP3 player back through Mac incompatablity issues!!

Take a look at this discussion/solution in the SanDisk Forum.

Seems like you would need a one-time access to a Win-PC to activate your Clip Sport.

Then you could use iTunes on your Mac for all future access your Audible files (and copy to your activated Clip Sport).

Yes just been told that by an Audible chat person. Not any use really if no access to a PC. Unimpressed with the whole debacle, player going back to retailer and audible account cancelled.  It’s 2019 everybody, about time all providers consolidated their approach and not exclude /penalise users  who use different platforms. Lessons not learnt by the Betamax/VHS battle evidently. Unimpressed.
