Edit: i was very unclear with what i said, the only thing i want is to know how to order the songs on the clip jam by another way that isn’t date added
There are at least 3 modes of music play on the Clip Jam (and Clip Sports).
MUSIC MODE
You can select Albums, Artists, Songs if the ID3 tags in your mp3 files are properly curated in the Music folder of your player (and in your micro SD card; using CARD MODE).
PLAYLIST MODE
You can use several different audio management software programs to create “m3u” Playlists of audio files that already reside within the Music folder of your player (or on the micro SD card).
FOLDER MODE
You can use simple linear play of audio files within each subfolder on your player (or micro SD card). You can only choose one subfolder at a time. The linear play order is based on the chronology of files added to player.
Unless, you decide to use a file sorting program to re-order the sequence of subfolders and files that reside on your player.
Take a look at the discussion of FAT Sorter 1.0.4 at this weblink. You could decide to run this free software program after every file management session with your Clip Jam. (This software only affects the FOLDER MODE of the player.)
Maybe you are trying to use FOLDER MODE to play audio files on your Clip Jam (and Clip Sports) or in your micro SD card?
Folder Mode plays audio files according to the chronological order they were added to player memory.
You could use the free software FAT SORTER 1.0.4 to re-sort the File Action Table according to alphabetical order by Folder Name and File Name after every file management session.
