Does clip jam retain shuffled playlist order after turning back on?

When playing music with shuffle on, does it ‘remember’ the shuffled order? Say it plays Song5, Song9, Song4, Song6, Song3. If I then go backward through the playlist, will it play back through 3,6,4,9,5? Can I then go forward again, through 5,9,4,6,3? Or will it re-shuffle the songs if I try to go back? If it retains that shuffled order to go backward & forward through, will it still retain that order after turning it off, & back on? That’s how my old Sansa Fuse worked. I’m hoping the Clip Jam works the same way. Can someone please verify? Thanks!
