I contacted Canon and received a reply saying that SDHC UHS-1 memory cards are not compatible with Canon Ixus 140 digital point and shoot cameras. Message rec’d 22/01/2014. They advised me to use a SDHC class 6 memory card between 4GB and 32GB maximum.
