Not quite true.
Install the SDCZ driver. Reboot the computer. Win98 will detect the new hardware and prompt you fo the drive.
Chose Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want.
Chose Hard disk controllers.
Chose SanDisk from the list of manufacturers
Chose Cruzer Micro USB-Flash-Drive from the device list.
Clicked Yes at the warning regarding the wrong driver.
I did not find this myself,
SanDisk should pick up a mitt and get in the game on that one...

Hey, if you can get it to work, more power to you...but I think that by "not supported", SanDisk means "we didn't intend for it to work and we won't help you make it work".
I say just update to an OS that's not ten years old.

Actually, very true--SanDisk doesn't officially support newer Cruzers on Win98...doesn't mean it can't be done, just they don't support it and won't help you use the archaic systems to make it so No. 1...
