sandisk 32 gb micro sd card not working

ok so  a few years back i bought a sandisk 32 gb micro sd card  class 4 to use with my tablet anyways the tablet broke and i eventualy moved the card to my samsung galaxy s5 phone i ended up selling the phone and now i was using the card in a sandisk clip sport mp3 player for awhile it would say card error and i would have to re insert the card for it to work again now it dosent even work my computer wont even read it any more (my os is lubuntu) 19 gigs of music are lost as well as some photos i backed up is there anyway to retrive the lost data or is it gone for good  i also noticed a few times while it was in my phone it would say sd card unexpectly removed even though it was still inserted
