Sandisk Ultra 32GB reading as full while the memory card is empty

I use the Sandish Ultra 32GB with my Canon DSLR. However, the memory card is saying it is now full despite having deleted all the photos from the device. It would be great if someone could help me with this problem. Thanks in advance.

Saludos, Alfred.

_ Dear member of SanDisk Community, welcome. _

The card, if you can not delete the photos, has an internal problem, and to protect data, became “read only” or “Write Protected” .
The card is defective, you can return it.

Please, to confirm this, you can perform the following tests:

1- Clean the contacts of the card, with isopropyl (or common) alcohol.
2- In addition, clean the contacts of the slot-port of the camera.
3- See, with a magnifying glass and flashlight, which the contacts the slot-port, are not dirty, broken or bent.
4- Also, try another card, to rule out a problem of the camera.

Then, see if it solved, if it is not, follow:

5- Try the card in another laptops, directly to port-card, with a good adapter (not a card reader).
