Hello everyone,

this is my first post here, I have a question about the regular speed of the Sandisk MicroSDHC 16GB Class 4.

After formatting the card (by using SDFormatter), I executed a reading/writing test by using a program called ‘H2testw’.

After roughly an hour of writing and reading, this is the information it acquired:

Test finished without errors.

You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.

Writing speed: 5.27 MByte/s

Reading speed: 13.5 MByte/s

The writing speed seems somewhat slow considering it’s a class 4. Or am I mistaken?

thats normal it is faster than 4MB/s witch is what class 4 spec is.

As the minimum writing speed for a Class 4 card is 4MB/second, I’d say yours is right in line.
