I have a 64gb micro sd card. im using it on my canon camera after few times use, I can’t format the card, i tried swotching the side of the adapter, still it says it is write protected and cannot format the card.

Please, see if _have the logo SDXC _, in the camera or in guide.
If have the logo, return the card, it’s defective.
If not have the logo, then, use card up to 32GB SDHC.
