So some background, wife has a new dodge journey with entertainment package. Unforuntely even though it has an SD card reader, it has no codecs for reading avi,mp4, etc. It will only play an actual DVD through the dvd slot. Copying files from a dvd to an SD card and inserting it into the slot will give a “no readable format” message. What I would like is to be able to mimic a DVD onto an SD card. Otherwise I have to burn DVDs for everyone of my kids shows, an SD card would be a much eaiser solution. I’m an IT professional so you’d think I could figure this out…but no avail thus far. Any help would be great…
Edit FYI this is the standard “Uconnect” system that comes in dodge/jeep/Chrysler vehicles
