Re: 32GB Class 10 Micro SD card - unexpectedly removed in Android

People, I had the same problem with the 32g card in my Galaxy Note 1 phone, I called Sandisk and they started a warranty replacement process, they said that temporarily they were making a change for this process: instead of sending the card to Sandisk you take pictures of the card on a paper with your name and an incident number, you send them and once they verify that the card is original they ask you to destroy the card and send pictures of the destroyed card on the same paper. Then they send you a new card. They said that they were using a new technology in manufacturing the cards and that the issue was acknowledged. This was some 4 months ago and except for one random occurrence of this card extraction message, it has worked flawlessly.
Best of luck with this.

Re: 32GB Class 10 Micro SD card - unexpectedly removed in Android

Don't worry. If you want to recover data from Android SD card, try Android Data Recovery. Install it on your computer and run it. Connect your phone to computer and enable USB debugging. Then you can scan your data from SD card and then recover your lost data. Read more from: SD Card Data Recovery. Hope my suggestion will help you.

Re: 32GB Class 10 Micro SD card - unexpectedly removed in Android

Saludos, Alfred.

The dilemma the Cybernaut

Smiley Happy   Hi Johnnyl33,

Dear member of SanDisk Community, welcome.

[ ... request a response and cooperation, to solve this problem. ]

Answer:
Do not suffer anymore friend, if you have a defective card, there is a simple solution: give it back.
The company SanDisk, you will change very glad, for that is you can optimize its product excellence and global recognition.

Collaboration:
To do this, you have to go to "hit the right door."
What is? Very simple: it is the appropriate place, ie, where they have "the Power to implement the solution to the problems", and give you another memory card, how well you deserve.
See the link: http://www.sandisk.es/about-sandisk/contact-us/

Suggestions:
And I say this (of course, not only to you), in tribute, to the respectful of to your request, because this door: SanDisk/Forum that beam hit, is just "the wrong door".
The Forum is a community of users, colleagues, friends, mates, SanDisknauts like you.
With more or less knowledge, experience or research, and above all, many with teaching vocation, who strive to resolve and clarify issues, theoretically, with analogy to past experiences, and great intellectual effort, so chaotic many messages.
Ie there is here, people (smart and sensible), that "people want" and wants you to be content and happy with your product.
And as I noted this in the short time I'm reading hundreds of messages.
And I know, then they do not deserve in any way, be maltrados with verbal abuse, insolence, complaints and grumbling "shouted" in the "wrong door".
And above all, must understand that buying a product that failed, does not give the "right to be mean to anyone".
Even less so, being that Sandisk, is not a small store that sells fake or shoddy stuff.
And I suggest that when you have a problem, and you want it resolved quickly, I open a new and proper "thread" and not mixed with other intrusive, irrelevant and inconclusive messages, and out of place, which most Community, ignored
And so, I hesitated long before, to answer you.
And, when you're the host, and will ask for a favor, you have to respect the host and its rules, and not offending free.
And I say this, because although SanDisk, is a multinational corporation, this Forum is English-speaking and English-speaking community is.
And the practical, if you want the answers to "timely manner" is that the message is in English.
And I tell you, I'm speaking of Castellana (or bad but rather, Spanish).
And I always, I took the job of translating my messages, my few school knowledge, technical English, plus the indispensable help of San Google.
And always remarked in my messages for two reasons: one to ask apologize in advance, if the translation had inconsistencies (hence, if the message is long, I put bilingual). Or if the prose was not correct.
And the other reason is just teaching, so that "no English-speaking" knew he had a robot that helps you translate in your language.
And never, in my 120 replicas, I felt discriminated against for speaking a different language, to the Community.
And indeed, in many occasions, I realized that my efforts were appreciated in at English but not perfect (to answer you, it took me over three hours).
And that excited me much.
And yesterday, I answered a message in Portuguese!!!
So you too, can do, and I think that this message will be worthwhile.
And so, today, your message, I'll translate for you.

Regards, Alfred.                                                                  (Google translate)

Re: 32GB Class 10 Micro SD card - unexpectedly removed in Android

Saludos, Alfred.
PD: ...no se vayan, ...no se vayan, ...no se vayan,  ...ja! ja! ja! ja! ja! ja! je! je! ji! ji! ji!   ¡Disfruten!
---------------------

Smiley Happy   Hi all,

Well, and, of what next, I learned yesterday:

Notice:
To those who threaten, to go to the competition: they notice, that I should not try, leaving the community, as "at high risk".

And this, I say, as a great favor, friends, for me then, too, "I am in danger".
So I'll tell you off, for anyone to know...

-I told my grandmother, she heard comments, from a serious source (...in the hairdresser of a government institution), the very serious problems, which had a grandson of a friend, who is another who "loses time with the PC"...
I told my grandmother, SanDisk, along with Google, has four geostationary satellites ,to monitor the commercial infidelity...
This is a project, so very secret, which already has 20 years, and yet the great powers, do not know...
Then, this grandson of a friend of my grandmother, I said, for just buy a pendrive of 8 GB, competition, detected by the satellite (I think, that the pendrive has GPS ...), and weekly, began to have: dandruff and seborrhea then, and sister came out acne (because it also had used).
And that's not all, in the nights of "full moon", he began to lose my hair, and in a month, he was peeled...
And now, I had to leave the PC, they came hemorrhoids ...
The family, friend of my grandmother, spoke with the doctor, who told them that, the only remedy to recover, is return the pendrive "haunted"...

Well, until then, I found myself, as my grandmother, it's up the hairdresser next week
Hmm... What is happening now?, poor, for not to be faithful...
So, you know, if you are unfaithful to the community, is for their "own risk".

I warned them.

Regards, Alfred.              (Google translated)

Re: 32GB Class 10 Micro SD card - unexpectedly removed in Android

Hope this, that I just posted elsewhere on this forum, might help you and others with un-detected SD cards.  Certainly no guarantee(!), but my miracle might not be a unique occurrence and might help others recover invaluable data.  GOOD LUCK!

Re: 32GB Sandisk Micro SD suddenly stopped being recognized by Galaxy S3 phone

‎12-26-2014 02:58 PM

Same issue happened 2 days ago in LG D415.  Using card for >2 years.  Successfully transferred card and all data from previous HTC phone 3 mo ago.  Ran out of system memory on LG, so transferred all pics to same 32 GB micro-SD - and hadn't yet backed up :-(.  While transferring video of grandson's first steps to card, got message from phone saying that SD card had been removed, and that I should have unmounted it first.  The card was working fine in the phone until that message.  Tried re-seating the card several times and also tried reading it on laptop SD slot and on 3 different USB adaptors - NO JOY (and it's Christmas!!).  The card is not detected, so there's no way to use recovery software.   Any recommendations about most reliable recovery vendors? And, everybody says they're expensive - HOW MUCH??  Happy Holidays to all those without this problem!

No replies to this yet, but I have exciting news!  Based on info from an earlier post in which someone noted that a micro-SD card which had been unrecognized on his phone and computer suddenly re-appeared after several hours sitting in the card reader on his computer, I left my card in the SanDisk adapter on my PC and HOPED!  After ~1 wk of sitting there unrecognized through many hours of operation and multiple re-boots for various reasons, the card suddenly appeared in Windows Explorer!!  I immediately successfully copied the contents to my hard drive (recovering all the precious pictures I thought were lost!).  When the data seemed to continue to be accessible, as opposed to the earlier report (which said that the card quickly became unrecognizable again), I re-installed the card in my phone - and it has behaved correctly since.  I plan to buy another card for the phone and use this one for long-term storage, but I've learned how important it is to maintain a current backup (cloud or another medium) for the removable as well as the internal storage on my phone!

I don't have a clue about the mechanism for this miracle micro-SD recovery, but I hope somebody else might benefit from my experience.

Aloha,

Tom

Re: 32GB Class 10 Micro SD card - unexpectedly removed in Android

The following proc. worked for me:

- reseat the card in the phone slot and clean it beforehand;

- copy the content of the SD card to your HDD (via PC-phone USB connection);

- remove the card from the phone and format it (via SD slot or USB);

- recover the content to the card and mount it back in the phone.

For a few days I haven't seen any "unexpected removals".

Good luck!
