One thing I really don’t like about the ipods is the built in battery. They all
deteriorate a bit with each charge and making them non replaceable is really
nasty (imho). I’m aware that other manufacturers do also including Sansa,
but at least you have a bit of a choice. A woman at work has an ipod 2
years old and she only gets a half hour of playback per charge now.
Also like the fm radio and would actually also like am radio. I’m not too
concerned about the size and weight unless I throw my back out picking it
up. Mac does do some good stuff, but trying to make things economical isn’t
one of their concerns it seems.
