Volume buttons are active when player is locked,can I lock it ?

when i put sansa zip in my pocket,it always make a misoperation.

i didn’t find how to lock the volume buttions,can i lock it ?

or,can sandisk upgrade a new firmware to fix it ?

This wasn’t so on clip+. I would think this is something people might want (I do). One might need to change volume for different tracks and the chances of inadvertenly pressing the volume control on the zip would be small for most people.

Likewise for me:  I like having the option of increasing the volume, but having the player otherwise locked.  But then, I also use a small volume cable with my portable players (it goes between the Clip and the headphone cable), so that I can change the volume in the easiest manner possible.
