I listen to my Clip Zip while I’m at work so I have it on about 7 hours a day. I have it set to Shuffle and have about 31GB of music on it. During the day it is great because it doesn’t repeat. However, it seems like the Shuffled list starts at the same place every morning because I hear the same songs each day. Is this a problem with my device or is this just the way the software is set up?
just the way the sotware works. others have complained about shuffel as well but it has never changed.

Just a moment! Up to now I don’t notice any repetition. The longest stint I absolved was 2 hours or so, though. How exactly does shuffle play work? Does it effectively play the same few tracks on and on and ignore others permanently? That would be a great disappointment to me, because shuffle is the mode I use almost exclusively. Time to switch to Rockbox or false alarm?
