When I plug in my player the Windows 7 only sees a new removable hdd, the sandisk software for sync, browse, manage media, etc doesn’t come up. This happened right after a firmware upgrade, and now the updater won’t repair or fix it… Help me please?
There is no SanDisk software for syncing, etc. to mp3 players so I have no idea what you are referriing to.
The Updater only updates firmware. it doesn’t repair or fix anything.
Updating the firmware will revert the USB mode back to the default Auto setting (which usually means it connects in MTP mode). Try changing it manually (Settings > System Settings > USB Mode) to MSC and see if that helps.
Perhaps Scotto is refering to the rhapsody software that came with the player?
