Recharge Fuze battery without a computer?

Is there a standalone charger that I can use to charge up my hand-me-down Fuze player?

I’m an old-fashioned guy in my seventies, and it seems wasteful of energy to have to leave my computer turned on just to charge the Fuze.

There exist “USB wall chargers”, see  Google: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=usb+wall+charger&gws_rd=ssl

(I use one of the “universal” kind.)

Most modern cell phone chargers let you plug in any USB cable (including the Fuze’s) and charge. I use one with my sansa a lot.

Thanks, strawbeard.

I have a USB wall charger that came with an old Olympus camera my sister-in-law gave me:

Olympus F-2AC-1A Wall Charger - 5 V - 500 MA

Would it be safe to use this wall charger to recharge my Fuze MP3 player?

Assuming the fuze cable physically fits in that jack, yes it should be fine.

You can just go directly to any bestbuy or electronic stores and there are plenty of charges for that.

Why buy another one when the OP already has one that will work? :confounded:
