With a “touch” it needs to lock. Or every time it touches something it will do something you don’t want it to do. I have a touch cell phone and I lock mine after I’m done instead of waiting for it to lock by itself just in case I touch something else (usually hit the search button). I actually switched from open face phones to flip phones because my phone would speed dial someone… once it fell off the seat and turned on and stayed on for some reason, by the time I got home the battery was dead. I didn’t like the lock on them, but found it was there for a reason. This has a lock for the same reason. Maybe you’re perfect and it wouldn’t happen to you, but it has for me.
