I think that, especially for podcasts, you’re right–the Clip+ is just fine for that (and actually, still is a dang good player generally, along with my stylish favorite, the original Clip). I just wonder, for the small amount of extra $ (although, everything counts!), the other extra small options in the Clip Zip might be nice to have around–the time-of-day indicator, the FM radio RDS info., the aac support, even the multi-color screen and album art support. And who knows what might happen with firmware in the future–perhaps little with extra enhancements, but who knows (no inside information here)?
