The back of the player may not be correct. The ONLY way to tell is with the firmware.
3.x is a v2. 1.x is a v1 or a Rhapsody. If it’s Rhapsody, it will say so on bootup and under Settings it will have Rhapsody Channels and the Mode choices will be Rhapsody/PlaysForSure instead of MSC/MTP.
