Hi. Am a newbie here but figured out a way to get through sd card trouble by combining some of the different advice in this thread…
The Sandisc Mp3 player has to be set to MSC mode.
The sd card should be formatted to Fat32 format and 4 kb cluster sizes. My Windows 10 could not do that so I used MiniAide Fat32 Formatter which you can get from Cnet downloads.
You need to make sure too that you properly eject your micro sd card as it should appear in your Properly Remove Devices icon just like a USB.
After this and a power off and on with the card in, I’m running like a charm on a generic 64 gb microsd card.
